Prices are subject to change based on demand and increased value, though I always aim for prices that are more affordable than industry standard.
I have the right to reject orders for any reason.
Sale discounts (such as Nanowrimo Sales) do not apply to manuscripts that are 110k words and onwards.

Currency accepted is USD (US Dollar) and can be paid through PayPal (or bank transfer if based in Australia).
Payments are invoiced upfront before commencing work. If you require a 50/50 installment plan, it can be discussed.
Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.

Editorial Beta Reading

The time it takes to finish your request varies from 2 months - 3 months depending on factors such as health, the complexity of the written piece, other work, and responsibilities. I will always aim for your requested time frame.
Priority service can be added onto the package purchased, in which delivery of comments is expected in 1 month/4 weeks (previous point still applies).
Your editorial beta-reading and development editing purchase includes your manuscript with editing comments and reaction comments and line-edits. A Final Report will be emailed to you within a week of delivering comments. Note that there is no physical product.
The preferred word processor for reading, making comments and writing a final report is Google Docs. It allows me to make comments in an intuitive way and can be shared easily between the author and myself. I can also access it on any device to continue working on it. For this, I will request a Google Doc of your full manuscript. If there are any issues providing this, we can discuss them.

Author Website Development

Your author website development purchase includes the design and development of your website with ongoing maintenance after the website is published. Note that there is no physical product.
This service covers the design and maintenance of your author website. Website hosting and subscriptions are not included, and you will be required to share login information. Please only proceed if you're comfortable with these parameters.

Editorial Beta Reading

In the final report, if I've missed an aspect you were expecting a comment on, I will fulfil that request within a week of the revision request.
If major revisions from your end have been completed and you want me to beta read again, an additional fee may be added and can be negotiated.
If your request is unclear to start with, changes will come at an extra charge.

Author Website Development

If you requested a feature or page that was agreed upon that hasn’t been delivered, I will fulfil that request within a week of the revision request.

Maintenance of your website is included in the package cost and includes duplicating pages and rejigging the content for another book or product, replacing images, fixing errors, adding small features. Requesting a feature or page that requires set-up or more design work may incur an additional cost.

- I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
- I will NOT claim the copyright of the manuscript provided.
- I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the manuscript provided.
- I will NOT claim the copyright of the website developed.
- I may include a credit to Quinton Li Editorial in the footer of your website.
- I will consider the author as a client (testimonial presented on the website and name mentioned in the client list) unless the author wishes for their details as a client to remain anonymous.
You (the author):
- You retain the copyright of the manuscript provided.
- You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).
- Your retain the rights to your website.
- You reserve the right to query and publish your manuscript. It can be used for commercial purposes.
- You reserve the right to deny any suggestions made.

The buyer is not allowed a refund once I start working on the request.
If for any reason I am unable to start or complete your request you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel your order before I start it, you can get a full refund.
If you are getting a refund, do not request a PayPal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.
If you request a PayPal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund, I will decline the chargeback and supply PayPal with our conversations in which we talk about the request as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for requesting my work again.

Limited add-ons can be requested from a giveaway prize such as requesting 1 or 2 specific questions to answer in the final report, but no priority or discounts (unless the giveaway is to offer a discount or priority).
Giveaways are hosted only by my Twitter account @itsquinnli and any other hosts are not me and should be reported to the platform. Winners do receive a DM from me and can be confirmed through checking the profile the message was sent from, and verifying the email address that will send you a follow-up via email.
Giveaway prizes cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Giveaways are open internationally.
