FOR INDEPENDENT AUTHORS

ADVANCE INFORMATION SHEET TEMPLATE

According to Writers & Artists UK, an advance information sheet is a sales and marketing document which contains information about the content and format of the book, as well as key selling points, intended audience, promotions and reviews that is circulated to booksellers, potential retailers, reviewers and customers.

Indie authors can use this resource to speak the language of the book industry and present their book professionally.

WIDE EYE: A PERSONAL PUBLISHING PODCAST

16 episodes about my experience with publishing including advice and instructions for how I tackled certain parts of publishing my debut and my first anthology.

This podcast is currently on hiatus, but you can listen to previous episodes on Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, and iHeartRadio.

AUTHOR CONTENT GUIDE (December 2023)

40+ slides with over 65 prompts and tips for traditional and indie authors using social media for book promotion and marketing!

Important note: this guide may appeal to YA and NA writers who write genre fiction. That is because I am a YA/NA genre fiction writer and this guide is based on my experiences.

SELF PUBLISHING CONSIDERATIONS DOCUMENT

A document I made in July 2023 with budget, timeline, and marketing considerations when self publishing a book.

This document isn’t fully comprehensive and is based on my experience at the time. I may have updated thoughts or processes now - though I’m also always open to questions about anything publishing related.
